This was the first picture that I did heavy post-processing on. The picture itself was taken at Jade & Clover in Deep Ellum. I brushed out the gentleman in the foreground, brought up his exposure since he was in shadow, and sharpened him out a bit. For the rest of the image, I dropped the clarity off a cliff. The result was this “oil painting” effect. To me it feels like you drift further from reality as you travel through the depths of the picture, and into a painting. This picture is more of a project than a production, but I am happy with the outcome.
