Bloom

I had taken lots of darker photos on this cloudy day in Dallas and was hoping to come across something with more warmth and a pop of color. My wife and I had stopped for a piece of pie at Emporium Pies and this flower was our table’s centerpiece. I dropped my aperture all the way down to 1.8 to get a lot of creamy bokeh in the shot. I then warmed up the picture and bumped up the saturation and vibrance to get this final result.
