This is the beginning of my photography blog. My goal is to post my work here, and give background to some of my favorite shots.
This is an image I took very early on, shortly after purchasing my camera. It is my dog Banx and me. I was experimenting with flash for the first time and worked towards minimizing shadows by bouncing the flash off of an adjacent wall. I liked the feeling of black and white for this image, and got lucky with the timing of Banx sticking his tongue out, which makes me laugh every time.
